Biff Baker Challenges Hefley on Radio Program
BIFF BAKER FOR CONGRESS
BIFFDATES: YOUR BIFFNOTES FOR THE CONGRESSIONAL ELECTION
BIFF AMBUSHES HEFLEY IN SALIDA, LEAVES JOEL IN THE MOUNTAIN DUST
Joel Hefley called into the local Salida radio station expecting a friendly chat about what was going on up in Washington and about his re-election chances.
He got Biff Baker instead.
Biff was patiently lying in wait for Hefley to call in, and when he did, things heated up in a hurry. At one point Hefley became so flustered that he almost hung up.
No matter how much Hefley tries, he can't duck Biff. The chicken-hawk is running scared...
BIFF GOES TO LEADVILLE
Biff Baker attended a town meeting in Salida put on by the League of Women Voters. Biff was in attendance at the state and local candidates forum in Leadville that evening, but did not speak, although he was introduced to the crowd at one of the breaks and spoke with many Leadville residents both at the forum and afterwards. He will be in Leadville again November 1st for a forum at the Golden Burro Restaurant with Hefley and Imrie. [Note: this paragraph reflects a correction to the original release.]
BIFF LANDS TOP STORY ON KKTV!
The aftermath of the Rick Stanley lawsuit debacle has reaped huge benefits for Biff, as KKTV came calling for a taped interview. After some back-and-forth to get details worked out, Biff sat down with KKTV this past Sunday. He made such a positive impression that KKTV ran the piece as top story on both the 5:30 and 10:00 news! As usual, Hefley was nowhere in sight.
Biff would like to thank KKTV, the Leadville League of Women's Voters, and the Salida radio station for these fabulous opportunities to present his campaign and the Libertarian message.
BIFF TO BE AT HOUSE OF FEAR
Biff will be assisting his fellow Libertarians in their room at the House of Fear, put on by the Youth Outreach Center October 24 through Halloween. Come help the Youth Outreach Center raise some much needed funds. They'll scare the yell out of you!
BIFF COURTS EMMA
No, Biff is not leaving his wife. That would be Tracy Baker, not Biff Baker, and this is in El Paso County, not Arapahoe County.
What we're talking about is that Biff will be on hand to assist the LP as they mark another first, entering the annual Emma Crawford Memorial Coffin Races in Manitou Springs October 26. LP members and candidates will be on hand to drive Emma through the streets of Manitou, talk with the crowd, and in general have a good time. The race returns after being cancelled last year out of respect for 9-11.
It might be a comedy of errors, but we're politicians, not race drivers, so come out and join the fun!
